Redmi Note 14 Pro series launch tomorrow: Expected price, specs and all we know

Xiaomi is set to launch the new Redmi Note 14 Pro series in China tomorrow, September 26. This could possibly mean that the smartphones may also launch in the Indian market soon. Last year, the Redmi Note 13 Pro series was launched towards the end of the year, and in India, the series was made official in the first week of January 2024. There was a difference of a month or so between the China and India launch. Which means it’s possible that the Redmi Note 14 Pro may launch in the Indian market by the end of this year. But, that is our estimate. Xiaomi has to confirm the India launch dates.
However, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is launching in China tomorrow. As is tradition, the series will include two smartphones: the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Teasers have confirmed that both the smartphones will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the display and will have IP66, IP68 and IP69 certification for water resistance.
Xiaomi has only revealed a handful of details about the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ smartphones so far, but there have been several leaks about the specifications and design of phones. Leaks suggest that the Redmi Note 14 Pro models will feature three colour options: a white, blue and purple. The leaks also suggest that the Redmi Note 14 Pro series will sport a curved display.
Additionally, the Pro model is also rumoured to sport a triple camera setup, with a 50-megapixel main camera. Powering the device will reportedly be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. The smartphone is expected to support 90W fast charging. The display, which has been confirmed to be a curved one, is also rumoured to feature 1.5K resolution.
Even though this is a China launch, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is also quite popular in India. While nothing has been confirmed about the pricing in India or China yet, if we look at the pricing of the Redmi Note 13 Pro series, we can expect the Redmi Note 14 Pro to priced starting at Rs 25,000 in India, with the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ price going up to Rs 36,000.
